Mercury Man is a 2006 Thai superhero martial arts action film. Directed by Bhandit Thongdee with martial arts choreography by Panna Rittikrai. The story follows Chan, a Bangkok firefighter who becomes a superhero after being stabbed with an ancient Tibetan amulet. His body becomes a massive heat source, granting him super strength, agility, and the ability to make great leaps. Chan's fate becomes entwined with an Afghan terrorist named Osama bin Ali, who seeks the power of the amulet to plot the destruction of the United States.
